- To be posted on May 6, 2026, on the Utah Public Notice Website, South Salt Lake City Website, and at South Salt Lake City Hall Notice of Public Hearing for 2026/2027 TENTATIVE CITY BUDGETS Notice is hereby given that the City of South Salt Lake will hold a public hearing before the City Council to receive public comment regarding the South Salt Lake tentative budget for fiscal year July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. Said budget to include: a. General Fund b. Public Safety Service Special Revenue Fund c. Lease Debt Service Fund d. Capital Improvements Fund e. Public Works Campus Construction Fund f. Water Utility Fund g. Waste Water Fund h. Solid Waste Fund i. Stormwater Utility Fund j. Insurance Reserve Fund k. Transportation Utility Fund The tentative budget includes a proposed tax rate increase for the public safety service revenue fund levy. The hearing will be on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 7:40 pm at South Salt Lake City Hall, 220 East Morris Ave. South Salt Lake, UT.
