1. School Construction Update
Don Adams
A brief review of the construction progress on the new schools, including pictures, timelines, and estimated completion dates.
2. 180/990 Calendar
Each year, the Board of Education reviews and approves the district's 180/990 Report, which outlines the number of instructional days and instructional minutes planned for the
upcoming school year. This report ensures the district meets Utah's minimum instructional time requirements established in Utah State Board of Education Rule R277-419, 'Pupil
accounting.'
Under this rule, school districts must provide at least 180 school days and a minimum of 990 instructional hours annually for secondary students, with equivalent instructional time
requirements established for elementary students. The report includes scheduled student contact days, instructional minutes, teacher work days, holidays, and other calendar details
to demonstrate compliance with state requirements while supporting high-quality teaching and learning opportunities for students.
3. 2026-27 District Calendar Adjustment

The Teaching & Learning Department is requesting an adjustment to the 2026-2027 School Calendar and requesting Board Approval of this adjustment.

1. Math and Reading Program Evaluation
Jeremy Young
A brief review of recently completed program analyses based upon historical Acadience Reading and Math data. It will include major findings, historical trends, and suggested areas of
need.
2. Character Ed Curriculum
On behalf of the Teaching and Learning and Student Services Teams, Brittany Foster will present a recommendation to adopt a K-8 character education curriculum to strengthen Tier I
behavioral instruction, support a positive school culture, and promote student success, aligned with the district's PBIS framework.
3. CAPS Progress Report
Cindy Parkinson (CTE Director) and Michael Torrey (CAPS Coordinator) will provide a Cache CAPS update for the CCSD School Board.
Cindy will provide a projected timeline and estimated capacity as we scale up our program offerings.
Michael will present leadership opportunities for both our CAPS students and industry partners.
