NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
UTAH PERMANENT COMMUNITY IMPACT FUND BOARD (CIB) LOAN APPLICATION
Notice is hereby given that the Bear River Water Conservancy District, Box Elder County UT, will hold a public hearing on May 27, 2026 at the Bear River Water Conservancy District Office, located at 102 W Forest Street, Brigham City UT, which will begin at 7:00 PM. The District proposes to apply for $5,000,000.00 in funding from the Utah Permanent Community Impact Fund Board (CIB) to match funding for the Bothwell-Tremonton Pipeline and Storage project. The total project is estimated to cost between $15-20m. The project serves a public purpose by improving critical water infrastructure to ensure reliable service and adequate fire flow capacity for existing and planned development. The funding of the project is already considered in the District's user rates and impact fees. The public is invited to attend and provide comments on the proposed application.
