Equipment: Paritech extrication equipment has been ordered but the equipment is not expected to arrive until summer Building: Community: Other: Minutes of March 4th Meeting called to order 7:15 p.m. Attendance Board Chairman David Stacey Board Member Chris Schulthess and Board Clerk Robert Leifson It was moved by board Chairman David Stacey and seconded by board member Chris Schulthess that the minutes of January 7th be approved. The motion carried by the affirmative vote of - Board Chairman David Stacey Board member and Chris Schulthess Seiko Webb appeared for public comment. The parade is scheduled for Saturday July 4th - The department will provide an entry - Seiko asked about the care of fire hydrants - The town covers the cost of the hydrants and the department and city in a joint effort are to care for and test the hydrants. The motion carried by the affirmative vote of - Board Chairman David Stacey and Board member Chris Schulthess Training: The wildland refresher course went well. The board discussed ordering wildland gear at the next training including new fire shelters. Personnel: Tyler Walker has been attending the wildland course in the county and has attended 8 hours of training and will be eligible to respond after one more training. Jason Chandler from Woodruff also took the wildland course as a member of the county road department. The board discussed speaking with him to see if he has an interest in joining the department. Vehicles - the board discussed the disposal of vehicles. Travis Hobbs reported that the county has obtained a new type 6 brush truck, water truck and D6 bulldozer. Radios - All Radios are to be re-programmed - Joey Stocking from Rich County will keep us up to date on the plans and timing of changes. Equipment: Paritech extrication equipment has been ordered but the equipment is not expected to arrive until summer. Building: Community: Other: The meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
