SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON Tuesday, May 19, 2026, a public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. by the Salt Lake City Council to accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance that would amend portions of Salt Lake City Code pertaining to lost and mislaid property at airports. The proposal is necessary to comply with Senate Bill 172, passed in the 2026 general session of the Utah Legislature, and to codify the process by which the Salt Lake City Department of Airport disposes of lost or mislaid property left at the international airport. Chapter 2.10 and Section 16.10. would be impacted. All persons interested and present will be given an opportunity to be heard on this matter. This meeting will be held via electronic means, while also providing an in-person opportunity to attend or participate in the hearing at the City Hall, located at 451 South State Street, Room 315, Salt Lake City, Utah.
