NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The South Ogden City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on a proposed development agreement with McConkie Multifamily Construction. The property affected by the development agreement is located at 5083 Harrison Blvd. The proposed development will be two four-story apartment buildings. If passed, the proposed development agreement would allow the following code exceptions to the Neighborhood Commercial Subdistrict in which the property is located:
- Buildings to be four stories with elevators and interior corridors
- Floor height to be 11' (measured floor to floor) on the main level and 10' (measured floor to floor) on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors
- Reduced first floor glazing requirements
- Parking stall depth minimum 18'
- Required parking to be a minimum of 1.75 stalls per unit
- No curb stops on stalls that pull up to extra wide sidewalks
The hearing on the development agreement will be at 6:15 pm, or as soon as the agenda permits, during the South Ogden City Planning Commission Meeting on May 14, 2026. Anyone interested is invited to attend and comment in person. Those not wishing to comment in person may comment in writing by emailing amurphy@southogdencity.gov before 5 pm on May 13, 2026. Written comments received before the deadline will be included in the record.
