Notice of Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given that the Washington Terrace City Council will hold a public hearing at City Hall located at 5249 South 400 East, Washington Terrace City, Utah, on May 19, 2026, at 6:00 pm to receive and consider public comment on the City's practice of continuing to not charge itself for utility services (culinary water, sanitary sewer, storm water, and garbage) used in the normal operations of delivering City operated services. The estimated dollar amounts for Fiscal Year 2026-27 of the non-charged utility services and the percentage of total fund expenses for which they represent are as follows: Culinary Water Fund $101,186 or 4.5%; Sanitary Sewer Fund $7,590 or 0.4%; Storm Water Fund $28,975 or 4%; and Garbage Fund $12,065 or 1.5%. All interested utility customers are invited to attend and offer comment.
