BALLARD CITY, 2381 EAST 1000 SOUTH , BALLARD, UTAH 84066
General Notice:
Ballard City (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: 1000 South
Connector.
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the offices of Jones and DeMille Engineering
located at 520 West Highway 40, Roosevelt, Utah 84066. until Monday, June 1, 2026 at 1:00 PM local
time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work: Construction of new road, water, and storm drain utilities in
parts of Ballard City, Duchesne County, and Roosevelt City, including 15,900 cubic yards borrow, 3,600
cubic yards roadway excavation, concrete box culvert with headwalls and wingwalls, 11,500 square
yards geogrid, 3,050 cubic yards untreated base course, 3,000 tons hot mix asphalt, 2,120 linear feet
storm drain pipe, and 940 linear feet culinary water line. Bids will be received for single contract.
Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $3,000,000 The Project is
expected to be completed by November 15, 2025.
Obtaining Bidding Documents:
Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at
https://contractors.jonesanddemille.com/.
The designated website will be updated with addenda, plan holders list, reports, and other information
relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. Official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding
Documents will be offered through the designated website.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Jones & DeMille Engineering, Inc., 520 West Highway
40, Roosevelt, Utah 84006. Only electronic copies of Bidding Documents will be issued.
Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including
addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
Questions are due in writing to Karrissa Musich, Administrative Assistant, at
karissa.m@jonesanddemille.com on or before May 26, 2026 at 5:00 PM local time.
Pre-bid Conference:
A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 1:00 PM local time at the
office of Jones & DeMille Engineering , 520 West Highway 40, Roosevelt, Utah 84066. Attendance at the
pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
Instructions to Bidders:
For further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer
to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Owner may reject any or
all bids submitted.
