NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice to Reorganize Timpanogos Special Service District In accordance with Utah Code Section 17D-1-604 and 17D-1-205, NOTICE is hereby given that the Utah County Board of Commissioners intends to reorganize the Timpanogos Special ('TSSD') into a special district: 1. On April 22, 2026, the Board of County Commissioners, Utah County, Utah, adopted a resolution stating its intent to reorganize the Timpanogos Special Service District into a special district. The reorganized district shall be known as the Timpanogos Sanitary Sewer District ('TSSD') . 2. The boundaries of the proposed special district shall be those same boundaries which currently comprise the boundaries of the special service district and are generally described as follows: a) all land lying within the geographical boundaries of the cities of Alpine, American Fork, Cedar Hills, Highland, Lehi, Pleasant Grove and Saratoga Springs; and b) portions of the cities of Eagle Mountain and Vineyard that are served by TSSD County as well as the portion of Draper's Suncrest development area lying within Utah County. 3. That the TSSD shall have the authority to provide generally for or furnish the operation of a system for the collection, storage, control, and treatment of sewage; without limiting the foregoing, the services to be provided by TSSD include wastewater collection and treatment, resource conservation, and reuse of treated wastewater by utilization of means allowed by law. 4. Taxes may be levied annually upon all taxable property within the TSSD. 5. Fees or charges may be imposed to pay for some or all of the services that the TSSD is proposed to provide. 6. The Board of County Commissioners, Utah County, Utah, will hold a public hearing on June 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at the Utah County Administration Building, 100 East Center Street, Room 1400, Provo, Utah, to reorganize TSSD into a special district.
