IPHS Exec reviewed the Babywatch grant by email and agreed it should not be designated as exempt. A motion was made by email with a second, and approval by the IPHS Exec committee, as follows:
IPHS Exec recommends approval of the Baby Watch Early Intervention Program grant application as proposed, with the caveat that we would like to review and discuss information using the usual Governance review process for future renewal and competitive applications.
The purpose of the federal Part C of IDEA grant is to assist states in operating a comprehensive statewide program of early intervention services for infants and toddlers ages birth through two with disabilities, and their families.
The Department contracts with agencies in the State of Utah to provide early intervention services to eligible children aged birth to three, and their families.
