- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 1 PM in the Rich County Courthouse, 20 S. Main Street in Randolph. The Rich County Board of Commissioners is considering a proposed campaign financial disclosure ordinance. A copy of a proposed agreement can be obtained by contacting the Rich County Clerk, Anneliesa Peart at (435) 793-2415. Utah Code ยง 17-70-403 (2025) requires counties to enact an ordinance governing campaign finances for county offices and local school board offices. State law requires this ordinance to (1) keep campaign funds in a separate dedicated account, (2) reject anonymous campaign donations of over $50, (3) keep an itemized list of donations and campaign expenditures, and (4) provide written campaign financial reports to the County Clerk for filing and public inspection. The Board of Commissioners is soliciting the public's comments on the proposed ordinance. Those attending the hearing will be invited to provide their input. Those wishing to comment, but who are unable to attend the hearing may also submit written comments to the Rich County Clerk prior to the hearing.
