Notice is given that the Stockton Town Council will hold a regular meeting as identified below in the Town Council Chambers at the Stockton Town Hall 18 N. Johnson Street, Stockton, Utah. In compliance with the American Disabilities Act, any individual who may need special accommodations including auxiliary communicative and services during this meeting shall notify the Town Clerk at (435) 882-3877 at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. The order of Agenda Items may be changed if deemed appropriate by the Mayor or Town Council. Time limits, if any listed for Agenda items are approximate and may be accelerated or delayed.

Sheriff-14 total details 1 arrest 0 citations.
b. Stockton Fire Department - Chief Justin Huffman- including Rescue 51 power tool purchase and Fire Dept Instructors Conference request. APPROVED
11 calls, pretty slow month, Fire prevention meeting next Thursday. Planning and prep for upcoming fire season.
ISO rating is a 4 in effect March 1st. Trying to bring rating up. Training was good hands on experience with cutting open truck donated from town. Applied for a few grants. Important for elected officials to get FEMA trained. Opens doors to grant money and officials are important when it comes to emergencies.

5. Amber Einerson (Americorps Service Program)- Serving Senior Citizens 55+, needing senior Volunteers, Foster Grandparent program. Maintain quality of life. -200% poverty line to qualify. Needs seniors with an exceptional need.
6. Daniel Jensen Review General Plan and Town Code-Public Hearing at the Planning Commission next month. Take a look at it and review. Will be working on a Town Code review. Finding codes online. ADUs
7. Rocky Mountain Power Presentation- 200miles of power lines going through town. Wildfire Risk 2024 was a bad power yr with safety settings. Safety settings will continue to happen.
8. Resolution 2026-03 Web site service agreement

11. Pickle Ball Court Discussion- Make the basketball court into a pickleball court, $2500-$3000, will have more info next month.
12. Budget Review-notes included for wage increase. Please review. Still waiting on agreements, it will change for the better.
13. Public Comments time is reserved for the residents of the Town of Stockton, and those who wish to comment on concerns of the town. Up to 5 minutes are provided to voice your concerns or make comments. Everyone will be given a Complaint/Suggestion form to submit their concern officially. The form will be documented and entered in a ledger with the date and time it was received. The town will not be able to act upon hearsay or verbal accusations if proper documentation was not entered into the official ledger for action. The Complaint/Suggestion ledger will be a public document which can be viewed by Town of Stockton Residents or those who have made complaints or suggestions during regular business hours of the Stockton Town Hall.
-Kent Baker- Working on getting a shed from Tooele County Recreation from there grant. Waiting to hear from them. Meet in March and will rate them and give the grant out.
