Description/Agenda
In accordance with Utah Code 10-3-711, the Millcreek City Council adopted the following ordinances on April 27, 2026: Ordinance 26-16, Approving Monetary Contribution of up to $6,500 to the East Mill Creek Lions Club. The ordinance required a study in accordance with Utah Code Ann. § 10-8-2, setting forth an analysis and demonstrating the purpose for the appropriation, which was conducted on March 30, 2026. Ordinance 26-17, Approving a Monetary Contribution of up to $51,000 to the Millcreek Arts Council. The ordinance required a study in accordance with Utah Code Ann. § 10-8-2, setting forth an analysis and demonstrating the purpose for the appropriation, which was conducted on April 1, 2026. Ordinance 26-19, Regulating, Preventing, and Banning the Discharge of Fireworks within Certain Areas of the City. The ordinance sets the boundaries within the city where it is unlawful to discharge fireworks. The map in mostly the same as 2025, with the inclusion of an area north of Scott Avenue Park to 3300 S. between 700 E and 900 E. Ordinance 26-20, Approving an Amended Development Agreement for Villa Vista Townhomes, a Property Located at or Near 1265 East Villa Vista Avenue. The ordinance amends the previously approved development agreement changing the prescribed location of the proposed live/work units from Buildings one (1) and two (2), to only be located on Building one (1).
