Description/Agenda: Loa Town Council will hold a public hearing on the WUI ordinance (Wildland-Urban Interface code). This code shall regulate and govern the mitigation of hazards to life and property from the intrusion of fire from wildland exposures, fire from adjacent structures, and the prevention of structure fires from spreading to wildland fuels and is required by state law for all municipalities to pass. The public hearing on this will be held before the regularly scheduled meeting on May 14, 2026, beginning at 6:30 pm. All public is welcome to attend and comment.
