- PROPOSED COUNTY CODE ENACTMENT REGARDING COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT LEVIES Public notice is hereby given that the Cache County Council will conduct a public hearing to discuss and possibly take action regarding the enactment of a new section of the County Code regarding tax levies for fire and emergency medical services. The public hearing will be held: Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 5:30 PM At the following location: 199 N Main St. Cache County Historic Courthouse County Council Chambers Logan, UT 84321 Subjects of County Code Amendment: - Enacting Cache County Code Section 3.88.030 to establish a separate levy for the purpose of funding Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) within the Cache County Fire District (excluding Logan City). - This ordinance proposes to shift funding for these services from the General Fund to a dedicated Fire Suppression Services Special Revenue Fund.
