The amount of total grant funding is based on a formula developed by the Department of Justice. The funds will be distributed as follows:
LAYTON CITY (Municipal) - $16,736.00
CLEARFIELD CITY (Municipal) - $9,551.00
DAVIS COUNTY (County) - $2,920.00
Layton City Police have administered several joint application grants for the Davis County area and are familiar with the accounting procedures required by the Department of Justice.
Program/Project # 1: Layton City Police $16,736.00
Grant funds will be used to purchase a modular wall training system to enhance officer training, improve tactics, and will be available as a regional training asset.

Grant funds will be used to purchase additional video cameras to be installed at city parks and along city trials to act as deterrence and enhance public safety.

Program/Project # 3: Davis County Attorney's Office $2,920.00
Grant funds will be used to purchase multimedia trial presentation hardware to electronically organize and present evidence during hearings and trials.
