TO TITLE XV LAND USAGE, PH ZONE (RESIDENTIAL PATIO HOMES), INCLUDING § 157.411 THROUGH § 157.419.

PUBLIC HEARING: The Planning Commission of West Haven City, Utah will hold a Public Hearing on the 13TH Day of MAY, 2026 in the Commission Chambers at 4150 South 3900 West, West Haven, Utah at the hour of 6:00 PM or as soon thereafter as possible, to consider change Title XV Land Usage, Title XV Land Usage, PH Zone (Residential Patio Homes), including § 157.411 through § 157.419. All interested persons shall be given an opportunity to be heard. Public comment can be made in person and digitally via zoom https://us06web.zoom.us/j/86539464549. Written comments may be mailed to 4150 South 3900 West, West Haven, UT 84401 or emailed to emilyg@westhavenut.gov. All written comments will be provided to the Planning Commission and City Council.
Summary of proposed changes:
- Removed the exception for larger detached accessory buildings
- Added the Detached Accessory Dwelling Units are permitted
- Removed the section allowing for zero lot line developments within the PH Zone
- Add a provision to limit the dwelling constructed within the PH Zone to a single story
- Made modifications to the landscape requirements.
