- PUBLIC NOTICE Jordan Basin Improvement District (JBID) is the Control Authority over wastewater discharges within its boundaries. In accordance with JBID Pretreatment Rules and Regulations, the public may view and comment on the contents of wastewater discharge permits to Significant Industrial Users(SIU) prior to permit issuance. The following SIU wastewater discharge permits are open for comments: - Edwards Lifesciences located at 12050 South Lone Peak Parkway, Draper, UT 84020 - Merit Medical Systems, Inc. located at 1600 West Merit Parkway, South Jordan, UT 84095 - Ortho Development Corporation located at 12187 South Business Park Drive, Draper, UT 84020 The above permits may be viewed upon request to the Industrial Pretreatment Coordinator: - In person at 1253 West Jordan Basin Lane, Bluffdale, UT 84065 - Emailed to pretreatment@jbidut.gov . Written comments may be addressed to the Industrial Pretreatment Coordinator through the following: - In person at 1253 West Jordan Basin Lane, Bluffdale, UT 84065 - Mailed to: Jordan Basin Improvement District Attention: Industrial Pretreatment Coordinator P.O Box 629 Riverton, UT 84065 - Emailed to pretreatment@jbidut.gov . Comments will be accepted on or before 4:30 PM, May 28, 2026.
