Notice is hereby given that the Sanpete County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider and potentially recommend for approval of ordinance changes to the Sanpete County Land Use Ordinance and Subdivision Ordinance. The items are as followed: 14.76.365 Wildland Urban Interface Code (WUI) and Amendments, remove $500.00 refund and add options of Class 2 and Class 3 clarification; Add definitions in Land Use Ordinance 14.12.020 for, Service Ranch, Private Landing Strip and Bunkhouse; Add Private Landing Strip in Land Use Ordinance 14.26.010 Land Use Classification Matrix; In Subdivision Ordinance 13.20.030 Supporting Documents, add supporting documents from 2019 ordinance 13.24.070, items J, K, M, N, O; and in Subdivision Ordinance 13.34.010 Dry Subdivisions, change 3.O. Skyline Mountain Resort Area 2 and 3 (as defined in 2026 SMSSD Water Plan).

Anyone objecting to the ordinance changes must file a written objection with the Sanpete County Clerk's Office at the Sanpete County Courthouse no less than 10 days prior to the date of the hearing. A public hearing has been scheduled at the Sanpete County Commission Chambers in the Sanpete County Courthouse on the 2nd day of June, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. If no written objections are received, the public hearing will be canceled.
