- Notice is hereby given to the members of the Hildale City Council and the public, that the City Council will hold a public hearing during the regular Council Meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. (MDT), at 320 East Newel Avenue, Hildale City, Utah 84784, to receive public comment concerning the Tentative FY27 Budget. And to receive public comment on a Property Tax Increase. The Budget Officer intends to state that Hildale City is considering a tax rate that exceeds the certified tax rate. The approximate dollar amount is $208,403.80 for funding the Police Department and General Fund which is a 170% increase in the city's property tax rate. Councilmembers may be participating electronically by video or telephone conference. Members of the public may also watch the City of Hildale through the scheduled Zoom meeting.
