- Brian Head Special Service District is accepting bids to lease up to 243.08 acre-feet of water under water right no. 75-2019 for the 2026 irrigation season. Any lease will be contingent on approval of a temporary change application to allow diversion and use of the water as desired by the lessee. In addition to the lease payments, lessee will be responsible for all costs associated with the temporary change application. Those interested in submitting a bid must do so no later than Tuesday, May 5, 2026, by 5:00 pm (MST) at which time the bids will be opened. Sealed bids may be submitted to the Brian Head Special Service District/Town Clerk, Nancy Leigh, at the Brian Head Town Offices located at 56 N. Hwy. 143. P.O. Box 190068, Brian Head, UT 84719 or emailed nleigh@bhtown.utah.gov. The Town Council acting as the governing board of the Brian Head Special Service District will award the bid during their regular meeting on May 12, 2026 beginning at 1:00 pm or shortly thereafter. For additional information on the water lease, please contact the Town offices at 435-677-2029 during normal business hours.
