NOTICE OF AGENDA
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Wellington will hold a regular City
Council Meeting on Wednesday, Apr 22, 2026, at Wellington Elementary located at 250 W 200 N. The meeting shall begin promptly at 6:00 pm as a regular meeting, and the agenda shall be as follows:
1. Pledge of Allegiance, Roll Call, and Approval of Previous City Council Minutes
2. Public Comment Period
3. Sign in sheet for attendees at city council members noting the time they arrive
4. Acknowledgement of who has city equipment, devices, credit cards, or any property that should be accounted for.
5. Gary Rea complaint regarding money he paid that should have been taken care of by the city.
6. Revocation or denial of business licenses when contact has been made but license fee not paid.
7. Vote for Friends of Wellington to run Pioneer Days and manage all the finances.
8. Friends of Wellington report on Easter activities with Ashley Yakovich & Kathy Hascall.
9. Discuss the progress of the old building. (contact Jones & DeMille for update)
10. Carbon County Landfill is offering free service. Fees waved for all residents through Saturday the 25th of April for cleanup. Hours are from 7am to 5pm.
11. Master Plan & Transportation plan updates for Sunrise.
12. Jones & DeMille will be present to discuss lead & copper.

14. UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
a. Follow-up on dog license for the neighbors of Paul & Arletta Childs
b. Charcoal for Baseball fields.
c. Follow-up on new Logo design
d. Business License application & certificate size to mail
15. Possible Closed Session to Discuss the Character, Professional Competence, or Physical or Mental Health of an Individual
