Notice of Vacancies in Administrative Control Board of Box Elder Special Service District
The Administrative Control Board of the Box Elder Special Service District ('the Board') has five positions that are vacant that shall be filled by appointment.
To qualify for appointment, an applicant must reside within the area intended to be represented by the vacant Board position:
- For Board position 1, the area generally including Perry, Willard, and South Willard. (Southern Box Elder) - term expiring December 31, 2027
- For Board position 2, the area generally including Brigham City, Mantua, Corinne, Bear River City, Honeyville, and Elwood (Central Box Elder) - term expiring December 31, 2027
- For Board position 3, the area generally including Thatcher, Bothwell, Tremonton, Garland, Penrose, and Deweyville. (North of Brigham) - term expiring December 31, 2027
- -For Board position 4, the area generally including Fielding, Riverside, Collinston, Plymouth, and Portage. (Tremonton to Howell) - term expiring December 31, 2029
- -For Board position 5, the area generally including Snowville, Cedar Creek, Park Valley, Yost, Lynn, Grouse Creek, Etna, and Lucin. (West of Howell on I-84) - term expiring December 31, 2029
The Box Elder County Commission will consider any names received for consideration, with preference given to individuals who have recently served on the Board. However, the Box Elder County Commission may choose to consider any information to appoint any individual for any reason, including number of terms previously served. The areas described above are general guidelines and may not be strictly adhered to in appointing individuals to the Board.
