Description/Agenda: SPRING CITY CONDESNED SUMMARY OF ADOPTED ORDINANCE 2026-05 On April 2, 2026, in a City Council meeting, Ordinance 2026-05 was adopted. This ordinance adopts the International Wildland-Urban Interface Code (WUIC). This ordinance adopts the 2024 Edition of the International Wildland-Urban Interface Code (WUIC), as currently adopted and amended by the state of Utah. Regulating and governing the mitigation of hazards to life and property from the intrusion of fire from wildland exposures, fire from adjacent structures, and the prevention of structure fires from spreading to wildland fuels. It also provides for the issuance of permits and the collection of fees. A copy of the ordinance and the 2024 Edition of the International Wildland-Urban Interface Code (WUIC) can be viewed in the city office at 45 S 100 E, Spring City, Utah 84662 during normal business hours, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday. The ordinance is linked to this notice and may be viewed on the city website at springcityutah.gov.
