NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Holladay Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, the 28h day of April, 2026 as close to 6:00 P.M. as possible. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a rezone application submitted by a representative of all property owners of four different parcels, consisting of approx. 1.24 acres (54,014. sq. ft) of property located at 6037, 6049, and 6051 Highland Drive and 1995 E. 6060 S. The request is to change the zoning designation from R-2-10 (Highland Drive parcels) (residential two-family) and R-1-10 (6060 S. parcel) (residential single-family) to R-M (residential multi-family).
The proposed rezone would change the allowed land uses by allowing attached, multi-family buildings with one residential unit for every 2,722.5 sq. ft of land. This is a change from the current allowances of: 1) an attached two-family building with one residential unit for every 5,000 sq. ft of land in the R-2-10 zone and 2) a detached single-family unit for every 10,000 sq. ft of land in the R-1-10 zone.
The packet with information regarding this application will be available for public inspection on the City's website www.holladayut.gov and at the Community Development Dept. during normal business hours three days prior to the scheduled meeting.
Please note, this meeting will be held at City of Holladay's temporary location, 3330 South 1300 East, Millcreek Utah. No meetings will be held at 4580 S 2300 East.
