PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Mantua Town Council, Utah, will hold its Approve Amended Budget Meeting in person at Mantua Town Hall, located at 409 North Main St., Mantua, Utah, for the purposes and at the times described below on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
1. CALL TO ORDER

2. REVIEW OF APPROVE AMENDED BUDGET FOR CURRENT FISCAL YEAR
Led by the Financial Clerk, Ronald Wallace.
a. Comparative Review: Detailed analysis of actual revenues and expenditures against the current budget.
b. Variance Summary: Identification of significant budget deviations requiring formal amendment for compliance.
3. FOLLOW-UP ITEMS FROM MARCH 19TH 2026 AMENDED BUDGET FOR THE CURRENT YEAR
a. Parks & Recreation Oversight: Action: Presentation of documented preventative measures and internal controls to mitigate future overspending. Lead: Ronald Wallace.
b. Waste Management Services: Action: Comprehensive review and status update on the current Garbage Contract. Lead: Henry Dovey.
c. Negative Water Utility Fees: Action: Formal explanation of the -$54,000 variance in water utility fees and corrective accounting measures. Lead: Ronald Wallace
4. ACTION ITEMS Action:
Lead: Ronald Wallace.
Allocation of General Fund Surplus:
a. Action: Discussion and potential motion to allocate $60,000.00 in surplus funds to designated department budgets. Council will determine specific department distributions during this session.
