RIVERTON CITY PUBLIC NOTICE
The Riverton City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 23, 2026, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Riverton City Municipal Building located at 12830 South Redwood Road to hear following item(s):
a. 'Saxey Rezone,' PLZ-26-4003, an application to rezone approximately 2.82-acres, located at 12317, 12325, and 12341 South Redwood Road, from the RR-22 and RM-6 zones to the RM-14-D zone, and to amend the General Plan from Medium High-Density Residential to High-Density Residential. Applicant - Eric Saxey
b. 'George Rezone,' PLZ-26-4001, an application to rezone approximately 1.80-acres located at 12345 and 12363 South Redwood Road, from the RR-22 zone to the RM-6 zone. Applicant - David George
c. 'Rock Ridge Amended,' PLZ-26-8011, an application to amend The Rock Ridge Master Site Plan for commercial property located at 12653 South 3600 West, the proposal is for changes to lots 6 and 7. Applicant - Brandon Harris, Altus Development Group
d. 'Farmhouse Storage,' PLZ-26-8014, an application for a commercial site plan for property located at 12270 South 4000 West. The property is zoned C-R. Applicants - Joe Salisbury & Tanner Johnson
e. 'Table of Commercial Uses,' PLZ-26-5001, Riverton City is considering amendments to City Code Title 18, Chapter 90 'Table of Commercial Uses.'
f. 'Water Conservation & Efficiency Element', Riverton City is proposing adoption of the 'Water Conservation & Efficiency' element of the Riverton City General Plan.
This meeting is open to the public. A staff report will be available for public review through the City website prior to the meeting. Audio and video of the meeting will be broadcast live. All comments submitted before 5:00 pm on the date of the hearing will be relayed to the Planning Commission. Riverton City Hall is an accessible facility. Accessible parking and entrance are located on the south end of the building with elevator access to the City Council Chambers located on the second floor.
