Approval of the Minutes:
Item No. 1 Approval of the Minutes: The Providence City Council will consider for approval the minutes of March 18th, 2026. (MINUTES)
Reports and Presentations:
Item No. 2 Sauerkraut Days 2026 Updates: The Providence City Council will hear a presentation given by the Sauerkraut Days Committee regarding this year's Sauerkraut Days.
Item No. 3 Cache County Sheriff's Office Presentation: The Providence City Council will hear a presentation given by the Cache County Sheriff's Office.

Resolutions/Ordinances:
Item No. 4 Ordinance 06-2026 Rezone of parcel 02-092-0049: City Council will review, discuss and may take action on an ordinance regarding a rezone request of Parcel 02-092-0049, a 3-acre parcel located in the general area of 370 N 100 W. The property is currently zoned Agricultural (AGR); the applicant is requesting R-1-6. Planning Commission held a public hearing on April 8th and recommended that City Council approve the application request. (ANALYSIS) & (ORDIANCE 06-2026)
Agreements, Contracts, Bid Awards:
Item No. 5 Solid Waste & Recycling Collection and Disposal Services Agreement: The Providence City Council will review, discuss and may approve an agreement for solid waste and recycling collection and disposal with Clean Slate Services. (AGREEMENT)
Item No 6 Fire Protection Agreement with the City of Logan: The Providence City Council will review, discuss and may approve an agreement for fire protection with Logan City. (AGREEMENT)
Item No. 7 Arbor Day Proclamation: The Providence City Council will review, discuss and may sign off on an Arbor Day Proclamation. (PROCLAMATION)
Plans and Other Business:
Item No. 8 Fire District Alternatives: The Providence City Council will review, discuss and may take action on a memorandum from Cache County Executive George Daines regarding possible alternatives to the Fire District. (MEMORANDUM)
Item No. 9 Tax Increase Public Hearing Date for Library: The Providence City Council will review, discuss and may move forward with accepting Tuesday August 4th as the date for a Tax Increase Public Hearing regarding a property tax increase to fund the library.
