Description/Agenda: Notice of Public Hearing Notice is hereby given of a public hearing before the La Verkin City Planning Commission on April 22, 2026, at 6 p.m. at 111 S. Main Street in La Verkin, Utah, for the purpose of receiving public comment regarding the approval of: 1. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF LAVERKIN, UTAH, AMENDING 10-6G5-1 ET. SEQ. OF THE LAVERKIN CITY CODE, ALSO KNOWN AS THE MIXED USE (MU) ZONE. Purpose and Summary of Ordinance No 2026-00 This Ordinance will add to the current Mixed Use zone prohibited use of vacation rentals, height no greater that 45 feet, first floor can be the height of 15 feet, Bylaws shall be approved by the city, Management office for apartments. A copy of the complete Ordinances are available for the public to review and copies at the La Verkin city office at 435 N. Main, La Verkin, Utah. The public are invited to attend. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this meeting should notify Nancy Cline, City Recorder, (435) 635-2581, at least 48 hours in advance.
