WEST VALLEY CITY PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING
A Public Hearing of the West Valley City Planning Commission will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 4:00 PM, in West Valley City Hall, 3600 Constitution Blvd., West Valley City, Utah. A premeeting will be held at 3:30 PM. Members of the press and public are invited to attend in person or view this meeting live on Zoom at https://us06web.zoom.us/j/83896786911.
Preliminary application information will be available by 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at https://www.wvc-ut.gov/669/Agendas-Minutes. Staff analyses, as well as any final application materials, will be updated by 12:00 PM on Monday, April 20, 2026.
Testimonies for or against the proposed applications can be provided to the Planning Commission during the public hearing or in writing prior to the hearing. If you wish to submit written comments, be advised that this should be provided to the Planning Staff member assigned to the application at least seven (7) days prior to the meeting to enable the Planning Commission to properly consider the comments.
GENERAL PLAN/ZONE CHANGE APPLICATION
GPZ-3-2026 Petition by Robbie Thomson requesting a General Plan change from Non-Retail Commercial to Medium Density Residential (7 to 12 units/acre) and a zone change from RB (Residential Business) to RM (Multiple Unit Dwelling Residential). ZONE CHANGE APPLICATIONS
Z-1-2026 Petition by Granger Hunter Improvement District requesting a zone change from A-2 (Agriculture, minimum lot size 2 acres) to R-1-10 (Single Unit Dwelling Residential, minimum lot size 10,000 SF). SUBDIVISION APPLICATIONS
SA-3-2026 Petition by Wasatch Commercial Management requesting minor subdivision approval for the Wasatch West Valley Subdivision. The proposed subdivision will also amend lots 2 and 3 of the WVLH Subdivision. The subdivision will create 5 lots and is located at 3548 South Constitution Blvd. and is zoned CC (City Center).
