Ordinance Adoption
During the Regular City Council Meeting held April 7, 2026, the Heber City Council adopted Ordinances 2026-04, 2026-05, and 2026-06. Ordinance 2026-04 amended the allowable height of flagpoles in the Institutional and Public Facilities Zone (IPFZ). Voting Yes: Council Members Barney, Cheatwood, Johnston, Ostergaard, and Murdock. Voting No: none. The motion passed 5-0. Ordinance 2026-05 repealed section 18.122 regarding a fee schedule and amended 18.52.040 area, width, height, and setback requirements to adopt rear yard setback exemptions. Voting Yes: Council Members Barney, Cheatwood, Johnston, Ostergaard, and Murdock. Voting No: none. The motion passed 5-0. Ordinance 2026-06 prohibited virtual currency kiosks in Heber City. Voting Yes: Council Members Barney, Cheatwood, Johnston, Ostergaard, and Murdock. Voting No: none. The motion passed 5-0.
