AGENDA COMMUNITY ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY ADVISORY BOARD MEETING DATE: April 13, 2026 Daggett County Commission Chambers 95 North 1st West Manila UT 84046 Purpose: Strategize the development of local businesses and community in order to foster economic, educational and recreational growth for the residents of Daggett County. Pledge of Allegiance: Roll Call : Approval of Minutes: Updates of ongoing projects: Restroom, Pickleball Court, Ski Resort Status update on project completion and expenditure of remaining allotted funds. Any required board action to ensure timely close-out. New Business: Membership Update Confirmation of Brynn Tinkers addition to the board (following commission vote) Discussion and potential vote on adding a county representative. 2. Past Funding Shortfall Resolution Update on the $1056.30 in unspent funds from the previous grant. Status of offer to the next recipient in line (or subsequent recipients). If declined by ranked recipients:decide on opening to all qualified applicants or other resolutions. 3. Small Business Grant Program Updates and Policy Refinements Review implementation of required minimum 5 volunteer hours for all future grant recipients. Progress on measures to prevent future shortfalls. Follow-up discussion on prior proposal regarding consecutive grant recipient ineligibility (if not fully resolved last meeting): merits, risks, to program continuity, impartiality in small county context. 4. Youth Workforce Development Initiative Discussion on ways UACT (or partners) can provide local students with real job experience, professional skills development, and communication skills. Explore potential program ideas, partnerships with local businesses, funding ties on board support to benefit youth local economy. 5. New/Other Business Open floor additional items.
