- Bluff Water Works Special Service District Meeting Minutes for Feb 11, 2026 Called meeting to order: 7:00 In attendance: Marx Powell, Amer Tumeh, Mike Yearous, Brandt Hart, Steve Simpson, Jennifer Davila Absent: Audience:Josh Ewing, Gary Haws, Gary Lichtestien Approval of minutes: Tumeh: motions to approve the minutes with changes discussed Hart: seconds Passes, Simpson abstains because of absence Community Input: Culinary Water: Powell: The system is running well, everything is working well on the plant. We had one test rejected from a shipping delay. We have resubmitted it but haven't gotten the results back. Powell will not be attending the Rural Water Conference in St. George Unfinished Business: Water Meter Applications: None Meter Report: Nielson construction will be paying for the boxes that were damaged due to road construction. Simpson asked the cost, Powell reported that he thinks it cost was about $2800.00 Bills to Pay: See Treasures Report Hart motions to pay the bills as presented Simpson seconds the motion Passes unanimously Other: Tumeh asked if board members are required to attend the Open and Public meeting training. Powell mentioned that we had been contacted from a state auditor in regards to the BWW budget. It was explained to the auditor that we are an enterprise fund which answered their concerns Next meeting: Mar 11th, 2026 Meeting adjourned: 7:12
