PROPOSAL TO ESTABLISH AN AGRICULTURAL PROTECTION AREA
Notice is hereby given that the Wayne County Commission will hold a public hearing to consider a proposal to establish an Agricultural Protection Area (APA) pursuant to Utah Code 17-41-304.
Proposal Summary:
An application has been submitted by Boone K Taylor & Marjie Taylor requesting the designation of certain land be zoned as an Agricultural Protection Area. The proposed area consists of approximately 57.69 acres located in the Bicknell area. The purpose of the APA designation is to promote the continued use of the land for agricultural production and to protect it from non-agricultural development.

Time: 9:30 AM
Location: 18 S Main, Loa UT 84747, Commission Chambers
At the hearing, all interested citizens shall have the opportunity to appear and be heard regarding the proposed Agricultural Protection Area.

A copy of the proposal and supporting materials are available for public inspection at the Clerk/Auditors Office during regular business hours.
