- 04.04.2026 TOWN OF Henefer PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Address: 150 W. Center Street PO Box 112 Henefer, UT 84033 (435) 336-5365 Notice is hereby given that the Henefer Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing to receive public comment on a proposed update to the Town's Sensitive Lands Ordinance. Meeting Details: Date: Monday, April 13, 2026 Time: 7:00 PM Location: Henefer Town Hall, 150 W. Center Street, Henefer, Utah Purpose of the Public Hearing: The Planning Commission will receive input regarding a proposed ordinance that updates regulations governing development within sensitive environmental areas, including but not limited to: Riparian areas Wetlands Riverbanks Steep slopes on hillsides and mountainous terrain The proposed ordinance is intended to replace the existing Chapter 9: Sensitive Area Overlay & Floodplain Regulations. Public Review & Participation: The proposed ordinance will be made available for public review on the Town's official website prior to the hearing. Members of the public are encouraged to review the draft ordinance and provide comments either at the public hearing or through other means as directed by the Town. Decision Authority: Following review and recommendation by the Planning Commission, the Henefer Town Council will make the final decision regarding adoption of the ordinance. Everyone is welcome to attend and share feedback
