NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING & PUBLIC HEARING Wednesday, April 8, 2026 7:00 PM Opening Ceremonies Welcome: Mayor Good conducting Pledge of Allegiance Invocation: By Invitation * The agenda shall be as follows: (The order of the agenda items may change.) 1. Public Comments a. Public Hearing for comments on Amendments to the Animal Ordinance pertaining to Dogs along with a Resolution to adopt fees for Dog Citations b. Public Hearing for comments on repealing the Ordinance adopting Vearl Christiansen Annexation c. Public Hearing for comments on adopting a Detached Accessory Dwelling Unit Ordinance d. Public Hearing for comments on adopting Amendments to Title 18 the Zoning Ordinance to align with ADUs and update Accessory Building regulations e. Any other public comments 2. Council Discussion & Action Items a. Discussion and possible approval of Vearl Christiansen Amended Petition for Annexation of 1.84 acres of property located at 100 S 250 W b. Discussion and possible approval of FY27 Road Work Bids c. Discussion and possible approval of renting office space at Town Hall d. Approval of changing Zoning Administrator to Land Use Authority and appointment of a Land Use Authority e. Possible approval of Ordinance 2026-3 Ordinance Amending Animal Ordinance f. Adjourn Notes: Public Comment-Members of the public may address the Town Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Everyone will have up to two minutes to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comments at this time. At the conclusion of each public comment, the Council may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. All Town Council meetings are recorded. The Council may vote to discuss certain matters in closed session pursuant to the Utah Code annotated 52-4-5 (to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation or the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual, or acquisition of property). Pursuant to Utah Code Ann. ยงยง 52-4-207 et. seq., Open and Public Meetings Act some of the Town Council and public may appear electronically. Prior arrangements must be made by contacting the Town Clerk at least 24 hrs. in advance. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons requesting accommodations for Town sponsored public meetings, services, programs, or events should call the Town Hall at 435-528-5061, giving at least 48 hours' notice.
