Hatch Town hereby gives notice of its intent to submit an application to the Utah Community Impact Board (CIB) for financial assistance to support evaluation and potential improvements to the Town's culinary water system.
The proposed effort will include a comprehensive evaluation of the existing water system to identify deficiencies related to pressure, reliability, and aging infrastructure. Based on the findings of this evaluation, the Town will consider and prioritize potential improvement alternatives, which may include distribution system upgrades and other necessary system improvements to ensure reliable service, accommodate current and future demand, and maintain compliance with applicable state drinking water regulations.
At this time, specific project components and total project costs have not been finalized. The Town anticipates evaluating multiple alternatives and may pursue a combination of grant and/or low-interest loan funding through the CIB program for selected improvements.
