NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Box Elder County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday April 16, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible in the Box Elder County Commission Chambers (Historic Courthouse, 01 South Main Street, Brigham City, Utah) to receive input on the following proposed petition(s):
PUBLIC HEARINGS
ZONING MAP AMENDMENT, Z26-004, Request for a zone change of 96 acres from MU-160 (Multiple Use - 160 acres) to RR-5 (Rural Residential - 5 acre) located at approximately 1715 S Willard Peak Road in the Mantua area of unincorporated Box Elder County.
ZONING MAP AMENDMENT, Z26-005, Request for a zone change of 48.76 acres from AHZ (Agricultural Heritage Zone) to RR-2 (Rural Residential 2 acre min.) located in the East Garland area of unincorporated Box Elder County
ZONING MAP AMENDMENT, Z26-006, Request for a zone change of 1691.17 acres from Unzoned to the AHZ (Agricultural Heritage Zone) located in the Riverside area of unincorporated Box Elder County
Any interested parties should plan to attend. Copies of these petitions may be reviewed prior to the public hearing in the Box Elder County Community Development office, Room 34 in the Box Elder County Historic Courthouse.
