Improving Timely Documentation, Reporting, and Analysis of Diagnostic and Intervention Data through Optimization of EHDI Surveillance Practices and Information Systems

This is one-year cost extension. The purpose of this project is to advance the capacity of the EHDI-Information System (IS) to actively track infants to ensure they receive essential screening, diagnostic, and intervention services by optimizing the existing EHDI-IS and expanding the state's ability to report, analyze, and use patient-level data.
The Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) and Sudden Death in the Young (SDY) Case Registry This grant application was reviewed by HPAP Exec on April 2nd, 2026, and received a favorable recommendation as 'exempt'.
