Description/Agenda: Utah County hereby gives notice of the initiation of a Secure Rural Schools Act Title III project to purchase wildland fire equipment, personal protective equipment, communication equipment, search and rescue equipment, and training courses to be utilized mainly for emergency incidents during a wildfire and all-risk incidents throughout Utah County and the nation as a fire response to national emergency incidents. Utah County will use the Title III funds for the above uses as authorized by Title III, 16 USC 7142. This notice initiates the mandatory 45-day public comment period on this proposed project. All comments shall be directed to patrickc@utahcounty.gov.
