Call to Order - Roll Call - Confirmation of Quorum 2. Welcome and Opening Remarks - Purpose of the FIRE Council - Overview of today's objectives: o Establish leadership o Formally adopt subcommittees 3. Approval of Agenda Action: Motion to approve the meeting agenda 4. Election of Officers Discussion & Action - Nomination and election of Chair - Nomination and election of Vice Chair Note: Officers serve two-year terms in accordance with the established resolution. 5. Establishment of Meeting Structure Discussion & Action - Confirm bi-monthly meeting schedule - Establish regular meeting time and location - Confirm process for agenda development and submissions 6. Subcommittee Presentations Discussion Each subcommittee presents its proposed charter/scope: - Paramedic Program Subcommittee - USAR / Heavy Rescue Subcommittee - HAZMAT Subcommittee Presentations should include: - Purpose - Scope of responsibilities - Membership - Initial priorities 7. Approval of Subcommittees Action - Motion to formally approve: o Subcommittee structure o Subcommittee charters o Subcommittee membership and chairs 8. Establish Reporting Expectations Discussion & Action - Frequency and format of subcommittee reports - Standard reporting template (if applicable) - Timeline for first reports back to the FIRE Council 9. Administrative & OPMA Procedures Discussion - Confirmation of Weber Fire District administrative support - Overview of OPMA compliance: o Meeting notice requirements o Agenda posting o Minutes and recordings 10. Public Comment - Opportunity for public input (if applicable) 11. Council Member Comments - Roundtable from Chiefs / representatives 12. Next Meeting Action - Confirm date, time, and location of next meeting 13. Adjournment Action: Motion to adjourn
