Dear Customers,
Due to the statewide drought situation, our contract for water this year will be cut by 20%. Consequently, we are cutting each customer's water allotment by 20%. The following watering guidelines will be in place this coming season.
- Secondary water can officially be turned on and ready for use on: May 15, 2026
- IMPORTANT: We will begin charging the system on May 2, 2026 to check the system for leaks.
Please check and CLOSE your own user valves BEFORE this date to avoid any unwanted water on your property as we charge the system.
- With more meters installed, customer use will be monitored. If customers are overusing, their water will be shut off early. Our District only has an allotted amount of water to use, and the water will be shut off for all customers when we run out of our contracted amount. Our water supply is directly tied to the previous winter's snowpack which was the worst snowpack on record.
We appreciate all efforts made to help us conserve water.
Please use the following WATER DAYS for your address:
- Odd numbered houses may water on: Monday - Wednesday - Friday
- Even numbered houses may water on: Tuesday - Thursday - Saturday
- A water cycle equals a maximum of 20 minutes for spray nozzles and 40 minutes for rotor-style heads.
- Please do not water during the hottest part of the day.
Remember: Secondary water is untreated, unfiltered water that is used for the irrigation of outdoor residential landscaping and gardening. This water is non-potable (not suitable for human consumption) and should not be used for outdoor recreation (filling pools or playing in sprinklers).
- Please check our website at www.southweberwater.com for any changes or to update your account information.
