Description/Agenda
This notice applies to voters covered under the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) who are eligible to vote in the upcoming election either by the ballot we will send or with a federal write-in absentee ballot (FWAB). For more information, see https://www.fvap.gov. The following offices may appear on the ballot for Rich County voters, subject to candidate filing, certification, and party nominations: US House of Representatives, 1 seat State Board of Education, 1 seat Local School Board - Districts 3 & 4, 1 seat each Judicial 1st District Court, possible retention seat County Justice Court, possible retention seat County Attorney County Commissioner A County Commissioner B County Sheriff County Clerk/Auditor A list of candidates that have filed for office and their current qualification status can be found at https://www.richcounty.gov/elections. Election dates are June 23 for the Republican Primary Election and November 3 for the General Election. Under Utah Election Code 20A-16-401, a military or overseas voter may use the electronic transmission system or any other approved method to apply for a military-overseas ballot; the Election Official must receive the application before the election day. Electronically transmitted ballots and instructions may be emailed from Enhanced Voting (enhancedballot.com). To be counted, the Election Official must receive all returned ballots no later than 8:00 PM on the election day. Please allow sufficient time to request, receive, and return your ballot.
