PUBLIC NOTICE
VERNAL CITY ORDINANCE NO 2026-05 ADOPTED
Notice is hereby given that Ordinance No. 2026-05, an ordinance of the Vernal City Council vacating Lot 2A of the Tyler & Marilee Shiner Amended Minor Subdivision, was passed and adopted March 18, 2026 in a regular City Council Meeting.
This ordinance approves the request of the property owner(s) to vacate the subdivision plat previously recorded with the Uintah County Recorder. The Vernal City Council determined that the vacation of the Jacob Fleming Minor Subdivision is consistent with applicable state law and local ordinances and is not detrimental to the public interest. Any existing easements or rights-of-way not specifically vacated by the ordinance shall remain in full force and effect.
The ordinance takes effect immediately upon adoption and posting, as provided by law. A copy
of the ordinance is on file and available for public inspection at the Vernal City Recorder's Office
during regular business hours.
