PUBLIC NOTICE
A Petition for annexation has been filed in the office of the Richfield City Recorder for the purpose of requesting annexation of a parcel of land belonging to Mark Enberson located at approximately 1000 W 1800 S, more specifically described as follows:
BEGINNING AT A POINT WHICH IS LOCATED NORTH 629.58 FEET AND EAST 1923.92 FEET FROM THE WEST QUARTER CORNER OF SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 24 SOUTH, RANGE 3 WEST, SALT LAKE BASE AND MERIDIAN, SAID POINT ALSO BEING ON THE SOUTH LINE OF THE LINKS SUBDIVISION AND THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF FAIRWAY LANDING ESTATES SUBDIVISION AND RICHFIELD CORPORATE BOUNDARY; THENCE ALONG THE WEST LINE OF FAIRWAY LANDING ESTATES SUBDIVISION AND RICHFIELD CORPORATE BOUNDARY SOUTH 2°50'22' EAST 628.32 FEET; THENCE NORTH 89°59'58' WEST 490.76 FEET TO A POINT ON THE WEST LINE OF PARCEL 1-10-34 OWNED BY RICHFIELD CITY; THENCE ALONG SAID EAST LINE OF 1-10-34 AND ALONG RICHFIELD CORPORATE BOUNDARY NORTH 1°56'42' WEST 297.09 FEET; THENCE NORTH 8°15'02' EAST 353.06 FEET TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE LINKS SUBDIVISION; THENCE ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF THE LINKS SUBDIVISION AND RICHFIELD CORPORATE BOUNDARY SOUTH 87°26'01' EAST 419.47 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
CONTAINING 6.87 ACRES, MORE OR LESS.
Notice of certification was received by the Richfield City Council on March 10, 2026. The complete annexation petition is available for inspection and copying at the office of the Richfield City Recorder.
Richfield City may grant the petition and annex the area described in the petition unless a written protest to the annexation is filed with the Boundary Commission at 250 North Main, Richfield, Utah 84701, and a copy of the protest delivered to the Richfield City Recorder by April 19, 2026. A protest to the annexation petition may be filed by the legislative body or the governing board of an affected entity, an owner of rural real property, or an owner of private real property located in a mining protection area.
