Notice of a Public Hearing The Town of Genola Planning Commission hereby gives notice of multiple public hearings on THURSDAY, April 2, 2026, scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Genola Public Safety Building located at 455 N Main St. in Genola. The purpose of these hearing is to consider changes and updates made to the following Ordinances: - An ordinance adopting the Wildland Urban Interface Code in compliance with Utah State Code to safeguard life and property by mitigating wildfire risks. - An ordinance adopting a Public Facilities Zone, to ensure long-term public use and improving map identification of parcels owned by the Town. - An ordinance amending the Land Use Table Appendix to our Zoning Code to add additional land uses and designate their allowed or prohibited zones - An ordinance amending the Subdivision Ordinance to require developers grant the Town co-ownership on secondary water at the time of development Notice is further given that if the Planning Commission approves the changes, the Genola Town Council will hear this item at the April 15th, 2026, Town Council Meeting to commence at 7:00 p.m. This meeting will also be held at the Genola Public Safety Building at 455 N Main St. in Genola.
