Francis City is seeking qualified applicants for the vacant position of City Planner. The City Planner will work under the direction of the Mayor and Office Manager. The City Planner supports the planning and development of the community by managing land use planning, zoning regulations, development reviews, and long-range planning initiatives and attends all Planning Commission and City Council meetings. This position works closely with office staff, city officials, developers, engineers, and residents to ensure sustainable, balanced and legally compliant growth. Francis City Seasonal Public Works Laborer
Francis City is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Seasonal Public Works Laborer. This position will serve under the direction of the Public Works Director and will run from May to mid-September, and hours may be flexible. You will be responsible for keeping buildings maintained, checking the Community Center after rentals and ensuring the building is left clean. Park maintenance and repair: mowing the grass, planting, and trimming trees, cleaning up liter and trash cans, maintaining, and repairing sprinklers, cleaning, and maintaining public restrooms. Assist with street maintenance including patching potholes, putting up, and maintaining road signs. Must be at least 16 years old, possess a valid Utah drivers license, and be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen. Wage range for this position is $15 to $20 an hour.
