NOTICE OF A REGULAR LIBRARY BOARD MEETING March 17, 2026, at 6:00 PM ________________ PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Vineyard Library Board will hold a regularly scheduled Library Board meeting on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 6:00 PM, in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 125 South Main Street, Vineyard, UT. AGENDA Presiding: Chair Christine Jeffs 1. CALL TO ORDER/INVOCATION/INSPIRATIONAL THOUGHT/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 2. CONSENT ITEMS 2.1. Approval of January and November Library Board Meeting Minutes 3. BUSINESS ITEMS 3.1. Vote to Confirm Board Secretary The board will vote to confirm Katie as the official Secretary, and we will review and assign responsibilities to each board member 4. REVIEW OF UPCOMING EVENTS AND ASSIGNMENTS 4.1. Vineyard Days Planning Discuss library participation in Vineyard Days and assign planning responsibilities. 5. STAFF AND COMMISSION REPORTS 5.1. Director Updates Valerie will provide general updates on library activities and operations. 6. WORK SESSION 6.1. Review City Council Presentation - March 24 Review the presentation for the upcoming City Council meeting and assign speaking or preparation responsibilities to board members. 6.2. Savers Fundraiser Planning - Review progress on the Savers fundraiser and confirm next steps for promotion and collection. - Discussion on whether to begin weeding portions of the book collection for donation. - Board members may assist with tying donation bags if time allows. (Time Permitting) 6.3. New Library Logo & Adult Collection Rollout Discuss plans for introducing the new library logo and expanding the adult collection. 6.4. Strategic Planning Discussion (Time Permitting) Continue discussion of long-term strategic goals for the library. 7. ADJOURNMENT The next meeting is on May 19, 2026. This meeting may be held in a way that will allow a board member to participate electronically. The public is invited to participate in all public meetings.
