RIVERTON CITY PUBLIC NOTICE
The Riverton City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Riverton City Municipal Building located at 12830 South Redwood Road to hear following item(s):
a. 'Moore Rezone and General Plan Amendment,' PLZ-25-4007, an application to amend the General Plan and Rezone approximately 1.45-acres located at 13153, 13171, and 13191 South Redwood Road. The property is currently designated as 'Estate Density Residential' in the General Plan, and Zoned RR-22 (Single Family, Residential with 1/2-arce minimum lots). The applicant is requesting the General Plan Designation be changed to 'Medium-High Density Residential' and the property Rezoned to RM-6. This zone allows for detached single family units only, on lots of at least 5,000 square feet. Applicant - Taylor Moore
b. 'Timberline Development Agreement', PLZ-25-4009, a Development Agreement for approximately 4.24 acres located at 13518 & 13506 South Redwood Road. The proposed Development Agreement would change the zoning to RM-8 (multi-family with 8 units per acre), while limiting the project to detached single family units on individual lots. The proposed Agreement would also amend the General Plan to 'Medium High Density Residential', approve a preliminary subdivision layout, and establish architectural and development standards, including private road widths. This meeting is open to the public. A staff report will be available for public review through the City website prior to the meeting. Audio and video of the meeting will be broadcast live.
