Description/Agenda

Notice to Contractors Sealed proposals will be received by Daggett County by the Daggett County Clerk, 95 North 1st West (PO Box 400); Manila, Utah, 84046 until 3:30 p.m., April 6, 2026 for the Daggett County Dutch John Airport 2026 Pavement Preservation Project in Daggett County. Electronic submittals of the proposal will not be accepted, and the contractor is responsible for ensuring that proposals are delivered on time. Proposal forms, plans, and specifications are on file and may be examined at the following locations: Daggett County Court House, 95 North 100 West, Manila, Utah, 84046 CIVCO Engineering, Inc., 1256 West 400 South Suite 1, Vernal, Utah 84078 Phone 1-435-789-5448 Specifications, proposal forms, and plans may be obtained only from CIVCO Engineering, Inc. at the above location. Each bidder must submit a bid bond from an approved surety company licensed in Utah and in good standing on forms provided by the surety company; or in lieu thereof, cash, certified check, or cashier's check for not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the Daggett County as evidence of good faith and a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and finish the contract bonds as required. The Daggett County reserves the right to reject any and or all bids. Bids will be opened during the County Commission meeting on April 7, 2026 and award will be finalized at the meeting. The project consists of approximately 20 tons of crack sealing, 40,000 square yards of emulsified slurry seal coat, and 135 gallons of pavement markings on the Dutch John Airport runway. The crack sealing is to be completed by June 5, 2026 and the surface treatment and pavement markings are to be completed by August 28, 2026.
